Should we do an engagement session?
Short Answer: Yes Yes Yes!

Long Answer: Definitely. We can’t stress the importance of the engagement sessions enough. It’s our time to bond, become friends, and get to know each other, while at the same time having fun and taking some really awesome pictures together. The engagement sessions will allow you to get comfortable in front of our cameras and with our shooting style before your wedding day.

Where should we meet for our engagement session?
We can shoot it anywhere, but it’s best if together we can come up with a concept that reflects who you are as a couple. Some ideas for some meaningful places to the both of you may be:

- The place you first met
- Your first date
- Where you live
- Your favorite hang out spot
- Your favorite hobbies

What type of pictures should we expect from the engagement session?
Our engagement sessions are a mix of candid shots as well as posed portrait shots.

What should we wear for our engagement session?
We recommend you to wear something that is comfortable, yourself, easy to move around in, and won’t get you upset if we get a little messy. : ) No logos please and if possible, avoid stripes.

Your wedding ceremony and reception photography shot list is best approached by discussing first all the shots that mean the most to you with your photographers. There is a standard (very long) shot list which contains all the shots that are traditionally required and which we will cover. Bear in mind the more strict the shot list the more inhibiting ‘capturing’ the ‘emotive’ moments might be – many people, when asked to pose, lose that sense of the ‘real moment’. We like to strike a balance between posed shots and emotive shots, traditional with journalistic styled emotive shots.
Generally, we will hit every mark – all the shots on the list and all the emotive shots, the portraits and candid shots.

Albums

We strive to produce the most beautiful albums we can, according to any budget. The work that goes into creating an album is extensive – with image toning, retouching, printing, layout and design, handcrafted leather bound albums – innovative and creative, by a team of passionate professionals.

Recently we have partnered with a Boutique Collage and Decoupage Studio in the heart of Rome, called ‘Leporello’ – they specialize in custom album creation for projects around the world. This collection is called our “leporello Collection”. What makes this studio so uniques is their skill in creating paper products that give an exquisite look and feel that is as unique as the artist that designs them. We are very lucky to have such an incredible artist and her studio on our team.

The Process of album creation starts almost immediately at the time of booking. Paper, Leather and Album options are decided early on in order to allow for the Artistic process to start. Once the images are taken, a tremendous surge of energy to color, tone, retouch, graphically manipulate the images into one cohesive artistic work requires weeks of preparation by all of our creative team members. Then the images are sent for print – depending on the options you decide on, photographic books or custom handcrafted artisan albums – or both. Printing carries with it museum quality, archival for 150 years, utilizing the most contemporary methods to produce the best paper prints. All of this is then put together and Shipped to you.

We also produce prints of the highest quality. You can expect your prints to be every bit as special as your albums. Heirlooms that can be passed down through the generations. Our Prints, even from digital masters, are printed on the most advanced printers in the world, located in New York. The color, toning, retouching of the images are extensive to reach as near as perfect as is possible to relay the creativity and mastery of the photographer.

Cards are printed and shipped from Italy.
